Le Jardin des Enfants, meaning “The Children’s Garden”, is a new and exciting place where we strive to foster enthusiasm and love of learning a language. Learning and speaking a language is about more than words and expressions, it is about culture, community and perspective. At Le Jardin des Enfants, we offer a place for all of these elements to come together to enrich a child’s life through language.
Le Jardin des Enfants uses an integrated, child-centered and play-centered approach to foster language development through highly participatory classes and a preschool. Our immersion programs welcome learners of all French abilities, from beginners to native speakers, and are designed to have children’s hands, hearts and minds actively and safely engaged with the language. Using games, songs, active storytelling, movement, music, theater and visual aids, we allow children to interact with the language while learning at their own individual pace. We encourage children to speak French through highly participatory and experiential programs where they are fully immersed in the language. Our gentle yet active approach to learning helps children to recognize their own success while laying a foundation for a lifelong love of language and multicultural learning.
